This is a 3 hour session to offer support and nourishing practices for women experiencing any stage of menopause.
As a woman in her 50s I have been going through Peri-Menopause myself for the past 6 years, in fact I think it started before then but that was when i became aware of it. In 2022 I took a training in Yoga to Support Menopause and have been learning since practices that help me and others going through the same. Of course every woman's experience is different, which is why I am covering different practices in these Yoga Treats. I like the reframe of Meno-Pause as one thing that my experience has taught me so far is the importance of pausing, of listening and slowing down. That's not to say it's all about relaxing, we still need balance, and moving your body and strength training as just as helpful as rest.
It will include a heart warming cup of cacao
A sharing circle
A balance of a few strength practices & gentle Yin Yoga
& Deep Rest with Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing
